The Treatment Process
To prepare for your treatment, our medical aesthetician will prep your chin area by cleaning it thoroughly and then for added comfort will apply a topical anesthetic agent.
Each BELKYRA™ appointment will consist of 10-30 small injections targeting various areas of the chin. Although the fat is dissolved within 10-15 minutes after administering the injectable, the inflammatory response of getting injected multiple times causes swelling. This is nothing to worry about and will subsidize within a couple of weeks and you will see the actual results of your procedure.
If you experience any soreness, you may take Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen for pain relief.
